This feature is designed to streamline and optimize the process of fulfilling orders, particularly when dealing with varying stock levels in different warehouse locations. We're excited to share an experimental feature that's set to revolutionize the way you fulfill orders across multiple warehouses. One of the biggest challenges in warehouse management is ensuring that orders are processed efficiently, especially when stock levels vary across different locations. Acumatica's new feature, Order Orchestration, is designed to tackle this challenge head-on.

What is Order Orchestration? Order Orchestration is a smart process that determines the best warehouse to fulfill sales order lines by checking stock levels across all warehouses and automatically committing orders to the most suitable locations. This feature can operate in two ways:

1. Shipping Zone Destination: It selects the best warehouse based on the shipping zone or delivery address at the sales order level.
2. Warehouse Priorities: It decrements stock from warehouses in a specific order, ensuring that orders are fulfilled from the most appropriate location.

How Does It Work? Let's say you have an order that needs to be shipped to the East Coast. With Order Orchestration, you can define a plan based on the shipping zone. The system will then choose the warehouse with sufficient stock to fulfill the order, such as the Virginia Warehouse, while maintaining safety stock levels.

For orders with specified shipping zones, Order Orchestration will not rely on the address but will refer to the orchestration plan to find the appropriate shipping zone, such as West, and use the designated warehouse for fulfillment.
