How Acumatica's Constant Improvement Benefits Customers
Constant improvement is the goal of any company. But for software vendors, it’s the number one goal. Customers don’t just rely on their software vendors to provide more functionality and usability, they require it.
It’s in this commitment to improvement that vendors are able to enable customer growth. Whether it’s an improved workflow able to save hours each week or a better reporting tool that empowers a leadership team to act more confidently, vendors who commit their efforts to innovation deliver positive outcomes for all those involved.
High Praise and Bold Predictions: Mint Jutras Report Expected Big Things from Acumatica in 2020
Last year, leading analyst firm Mint Jutras noted that "Acumatica is now on a path of innovation-fueled growth that was previously unheard of in cloud ERP."
“Given the growing acceptance of cloud and Software as a Service (SaaS) in recent years, Mint Jutras has been expecting (hoping) to see at least one of the native cloud solution providers enter a period of explosive growth. Thus far we have been disappointed, but now Acumatica appears to be doing just that.
How has Acumatica been able to achieve what others have strived but failed to do? We see several factors combining synergistically to create a perfect storm to drive growth. The common theme across all these contributing factors is Acumatica’s ability to continually innovate, not just in terms of the product, but in terms of its own business model.”
Citing the company’s 100% channel sales strategy, flexible deployment options, unique pricing policy, and continuous innovation, Mint Jutras predicted the company’s resilience and growth for years to come. But then COVID happened. Businesses locked down, the economy was uncertain, and even those providing necessary solutions for distributed workforces felt the pain. This begs the question, did the events of 2020 derail this or did Acumatica's resilience and innovation keep them moving forward?
Certified Success: G2 Crowd Momentum Grid Highlights Acumatica
The short answer—no. Even with the challenges faced by the company, Acumatica kept up its momentum, delivering new functionality in both 2020 R2 and 2021 R1. Paired with successes driven by channel partners, including Cloud 9’s Curbside Pickup solution, Acumatica kept on keeping on.
But it’s not simply a company and its channel partners patting themselves on the back. After all, success isn’t measured from the inside—customers need to feel the love. Luckily, there are a variety of places who gauge customer opinion on a product, and one of those is G2.
As the leader in determining satisfaction, G2 keeps track of customer reviews to provide potential buyers with information on products, doing this in a variety of ways. But one way they report on it is their quarterly Momentum Grid report, which highlights each product’s Momentum and Satisfaction scores on a grid. Breaking the top 25% of vendors into four categories, the goal is to find who’s the best of the best.
About the Momentum Grid
G2 defines a product’s momentum as follows.
“A product’s Momentum score is calculated by a proprietary algorithm that factors in social, web, employee, and review data that G2 has deemed influential in a company’s momentum.
Software buyers can compare products in the ERP Systems category according to their Momentum and Satisfaction scores to streamline the buying process and quickly identify trending products. For sellers, media, investors, and analysts, the Momentum Grid® provides benchmarks for product comparison and market trend analysis.”
Acumatica Named a Leader in G2 Momentum Grid
Though the Momentum Grid report looks at the top 25%, it takes a special kind of success to make it into the top-right quartile—and Acumatica did just that. In fact, in the Winter 2021 report, Acumatica was tied for first on satisfaction and found itself in third in Momentum.
With employee growth at more than four times the average, review growth exceeding eight times, and three times the social growth of the average company, the company’s momentum rating was among the highest in the report.
“Acumatica has once again been named a Leader based on receiving the highest customer Satisfaction score for ERP Systems ranking #1 in eight Momentum, Usability, and Relationship reports within the categories of Accounting, Distribution, ERP Systems, and Project-Based ERP with the most momentum in the Market.”
